What hotph's Privacy Practices Mean for You

Six concrete commitments that define how hotph handles your personal data as a Filipino player on our PAGCOR-licensed platform.

Data Privacy Act Compliance

hotph processes all player data in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 — the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012. This means your data rights under Philippine law are fully enforceable against hotph, including your right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data.

No Data Selling — Ever

hotph does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes. The only parties who receive your data are those necessary to operate the platform — payment processors, KYC providers, and regulatory bodies as required by law.

256-Bit SSL Encryption

Every piece of data transmitted between your device and the hotph Platform — login credentials, payment details, personal information — is encrypted in transit using bank-grade SSL/TLS encryption. Data stored on hotph's servers is additionally encrypted at rest.

Dedicated Data Protection Officer

hotph has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) as required under the Data Privacy Act. The DPO is responsible for overseeing hotph's data protection strategy, ensuring NPC compliance, and responding to player data rights requests within the legally prescribed timeframes.

Minimum Retention, Maximum Security

hotph retains your data only as long as legally required — no longer. Retention periods are set by PAGCOR licensing conditions and Philippine AML law, not by commercial preference. When retention periods expire, data is securely deleted or anonymised using NPC-recognised disposal standards.

Breach Notification Within 72 Hours

In the unlikely event of a personal data breach affecting your information, hotph is committed to notifying the National Privacy Commission and affected players within 72 hours of discovery, as required by NPC regulations. You will be told what happened, what data was affected, and what steps you should take.
